Stormwater Management Ltd would like to extend a warm welcome to Callum Lepper. Callum has recently joined our team as Technical Sales. As a key member of our sales team Callum will be building strong relationships with our customers by assisting them on a daily basis. Within his role he will soon be offering technical seminars and visiting our customers and project sites to assist with technical enquiries. We asked Callum a few questions about himself…

  1. What previous experience/education do you have?

My previous roles include groundworks and civils site manager and recruitment. Within both of these roles I was working either with/as operational management on site and dealt with a range of customers regularly.

  1. What made you join Stormwater?

Stormwater Management offers me the opportunity to be able to use both the sales experience I gained from my recruitment background and the engineering knowledge I gained from my previous experience in the ground works and civil engineering industry, giving me the best of both worlds and a job role well suited to me. From the initial interview the company appealed to me with such a welcoming team. I am looking forward to the challenges ahead and growing with the Company.

  1. What do you enjoy the most about what you do?

Within my Job I get to meet new people on a daily basis and get to speak to many personalities and characters, I really enjoy meeting different people from your onsite ground workers to director of multi-million-pound companies, this makes every day interesting and new. I have to say I am really looking forward to building relationships with Stormwater’s existing customers and new customers alike.

  1. How would you describe yourself?

I am a glass half full kind of person, who always tries to see the best in everything. I’d say I’m Fun, loud and adventurous!

  1. What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

A large part of my time outside work is dedicated to rugby, due to me playing for the 2nd/3rd team and also coaching the Under 13’s both at Vipers Rugby Football Club. Recently I have taken up coarse fishing as a nice way to relax in the countryside.

  1. What is your favourite film?

My favourite film has to be Coach Carter based on a true story, the movie is just really compellingly as it takes the’ typical underdog team that comes from behind story’ a step further and really goes in depth. The film teaches the importance of; teamwork, discipline and an inspiring leader and is well worth the watch.

  1. What is your favourite meal and where is the best place to eat it?

I’m a massive fan of a decent burger bar, the best one that I have been to recently has to be Boo Burger in Leicester!
