Internal Sales Person

Summary of Role

Reporting to the Sales Office Manager the Internal Sales Person will be responsible for maintaining relationships with existing customers and generating opportunities for new business. You will be required to negotiate and convert quotations to orders.

Key Responsibilities

  • To understand the Stormwater Management business plan and philosophy
  • Achieve personal and teams targets
  • Incoming and outgoing sales calls to potential and existing customers
  • Receive enquiries and provide quotations
  • Convert quotations to orders
  • Liaise with suppliers to arrange installations of our products
  • Organising meetings, presentations, site visits and pre start meetings
  • Provide basic technical assistance when required
  • Project Management
  • Utilising internal CRM systems
  • Provide monthly reports to Sales Manager
  • Develop new and existing targeted accounts
  • Assist with implementing of departments sales and marketing strategies

Requirements of the role

  • Knowledge of SUDS desirable but not essential
  • Experience in customer relations
  • Able to communicate on all levels
  • Civils drainage experience would be advantage but not essential;
  • Knowledge of sub contract orders would be advantageous
