Oblique infiltration system

FlowBlockTM units require a geotextile wrapping when used as an infiltration system. For this to work effectively the geotextile must allow free movement of water out of the system whilst preventing surrounding soil from entering.

In deciding which geotextile to use careful consideration should be given — in particular:

  • The flow rate of the geotextile.
  • The pore size of the geotextile.
  • The soil conditions.
  • The porosity of surrounding soils.
