HDPE Key Features
UV Stability
Formulated to resist degradation from sunlight, though some products offer better resistance than others.
Exceptional Durability
Highly resistant to tears, punctures, soil pressure, and root penetration, ensuring a long lifespan (20-50 years).
Chemical Resistance
Unaffected by acids, alkalis, and oils, making them ideal for industrial uses, irrigation, and wastewater containment.
LLDPE Key Features
Flexibility
Highly pliable, allowing it to easily conform to uneven surfaces, tight corners (though less perfectly than EPDM), and complex shapes, reducing installation time.
Can often be prefabricated into large panels, simplifying deployment, and is relatively easy to field weld or tape for larger areas.
Puncture Resistance
Excellent resistance to punctures, especially on rocky or irregular subgrades, making it durable for rougher terrains compared to some other liners.
